For Clinicians, Scientists and Trainees
Slaight Centre Journal Club presentations provide an opportunity to learn and discuss cutting-edge clinical research and answer patient questions that directly impact care. Journal Club presentations provide a forum where clinicians can stay updated with the latest evidence-based clinical information and in turn, successfully apply this new information into clinical practice. The basic premise is to use the best currently available evidence to guide the care and treatment of patients.
The Journal Club brings together clinicians, physicians, research staff and students, fostering multidisciplinary patient care and developing important relationships. It serves as a venue to discuss research in relation to clinical practice, disseminate research results into practice, and reinforce the need to base practice on evidence.
