Given the rapid growth of digital innovations and the potential for these innovations to augment and improve care, the Digital Innovation Hub was launched to accelerate the design, development, implementation, and scaling of digital health innovations to support mental health and substance use conditions.
Goal of the Digital Innovation Hub
The Digital Innovation Hub aims to support the development of scientifically based digital solutions to prevent and treat mental illness, faster and with global impact.
Specifically, the Digital Innovation Hub aims to ensure:
- Digital innovations are scientifically evaluated and meet clinical needs.
- Health professionals have the competencies to use digital innovations.
- Patients have the skills, interest, and access to technology to utilize digital innovations for their care.
- Digital innovations are seamlessly integrated into clinical care processes.
