Education at CAMH: Our Achievements 2023-2024

With the new Connected CAMH strategic plan for 2024–2030, Education at CAMH is reaffirming our commitment to continuous improvement and to developing education products and services based on the latest evidence, evaluation and research. 

In 2023–2024, we came together with various teams across CAMH to share our work under Connected CAMH, with a focus on building system-level partnerships and collaborations across different sectors.  This report highlights key work we accomplished in 2023–2024. It shows how our work aligns with CAMH’s three new strategic directions: Advance Care, Get Upstream and Lift Societal Health.

A Framework for Integrating Structural Competency into Physician Leadership Curricula

A Framework for Integrating Structural Competency into Physician Leadership Curricula describes how educators can build the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills among learners so they can challenge inequities in medicine and lead structural change (e.g., in academic, educational and health care settings).   

CAMH Health Equity Framework for Education and Training

The Health Equity and Inclusion Framework for Education and Training recognizes health inequities and considers the needs of vulnerable and marginalized populations. It promotes learning environments and experiences that respect learner diversity, ensure accessibility for all learners, foster inclusion and are free of biases and stereotypes.
