Psychology has a very active graduate level training program in clinical psychology offering both a residency and a practicum program.
Many psychology staff have cross-appointments at the University of Toronto, including the Departments of Psychology and Psychiatry, at OISE/UT, and at York University.
The majority of psychologists at CAMH are actively involved in systematic programmes of research, often funded by external grants. There are a variety of research opportunities available for graduate students, including collection of M.A. and Ph.D. thesis data, as well as post-doctoral positions. Publications by psychology staff can be found in the annual report published by the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto.
There is a Psychology Council at CAMH.
*** Please note, as of September 7, 2021, all new hires, volunteers and learners must be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment at CAMH.***
