Event Overview
What does it mean to be finally seen as a neurodivergent woman?
Join us for an evening of conversation, connection, and community, designed for and by neurodivergent women (+allies!)
This event explores what it truly means to be seen as a neurodivergent woman, in healthcare, mental health, relationships, and everyday systems, regardless of when or whether a formal diagnosis occurred. Moving beyond a narrow focus on “late diagnosis,” the conversation addresses diagnostic delay, masking, and the many ways neurodivergent women are overlooked, misunderstood, or unsupported, including those diagnosed in childhood.
A panel discussion featuring voices with lived experience alongside clinicians and researchers will discuss current research, the mental health impacts of masking, grief around unmet needs, navigating systems that fail to recognize autonomy and competence, what changes after recognition and what still needs to change.
