CAMH SIMposium of Minds: The Future of Simulation and Digital Innovation for Mental Health invites abstract submissions for the following in-person presentation formats:
- Poster presentation
- Rapid-fire oral presentations
- Innovation showcase
The CAMH Simulation Centre encourages submissions that reflect one or more the following areas of focus:
- Innovation in Mental Health Simulation: cutting-edge simulation techniques and technologies shaping the future of mental health education and practice.
- Technology-enabled Learning and Research: The impact of digital innovations such as virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI), and serious gaming mental health simulation and training.
- Interprofessional Training and Education: Advancing simulation as a tool for interdisciplinary learning, teamwork, and competency building in mental health settings.
- Collaborative Practice and Patient Engagement: Strategies to enhance mental health care delivery and accessibility through lived experience partnerships and coproduction.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts should be no more than 300 words.
- Abstracts should include a title, author(s), institutional affiliation(s).
- Abstracts must indicate the preferred in-person presentation format(s), and alignment with one (or more) of the outlined areas of focus.
- Abstracts must clearly outline the background, objectives, methods, results (if applicable), and conclusions.
- Abstracts must be submitted by Monday, September 15, 2025 by 11:59 pm EDT. Successful applicants will be notified no later than Thursday, October 2, 2025.
