Immunization
As a public hospital, CAMH requires that all staff and learners must complete health assessment documentation for CAMH’s Health, Safety & Wellness department. Prior to beginning at CAMH, all trainees must ensure their immunizations are up-to-date.
Note: For international students (including postdoctoral students), vaccinations must be completed and up-to-date prior to arrival in Canada. Please visit our international student page for more information.
Required immunizations:
- measles/mumps/rubella
- tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis
- hepatitis B
- varicella
- COVID
- a tuberculosis (TB) skin test is also required
More information about how to comply with these requirements is provided in the onboarding documents issued with your official research trainee engagement letter.
- For local Toronto students, your primary care physician can provide you with a copy of your vaccination records. Students coming from outside Toronto, or other provinces, should check with their physician or local public health to find out about getting a copy of vaccination records.
