Redevelopment: Discovery & Recovery

All redevelopment construction work will adhere to City of Toronto Bylaws, which permits operation of construction equipment Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 7pm. No noise-generating work will be completed on Sundays or statutory holidays.  

Noise and vibration monitors have been installed within and around the construction site to ensure we are working within bylaw requirements and are complying with the City. Environmental controls are in place on the site that are in line with Ministry of Environment requirements and will be inspected formally weekly and informally on a daily basis to ensure compliance and minimize excessive dust. The Temerty Discovery Centre is expected to reach completion by Summer 2027. The Waverley House Secure Care & Recovery Building is expected to reach completion in 2029.
