Dr. Sylvain Houle is a Senior Scientist at the Brain Health Imaging Centre in the Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute at CAMH and the University of Toronto.
Areas of Research
Dr. Houle was the founding director of the CAMH PET Centre. He led a multidisciplinary team of researchers whose focus is the application of PET, MRI and imaging-genetics to the investigation of mental illness and addictions, and their treatment, for 30 years. His research interests are centered on the development of new PET methodology, and translation of new PET radiotracers for first-in-human imaging studies.
