Dr. Robert Kleinman is a scientist with the Institute for Mental Health Policy Research at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He provides treatment to patients experiencing substance use disorders and concurrent disorders at CAMH.
Dr. Kleinman completed his medical degree at Queen’s University, psychiatry residency at Stanford University, and fellowship in addiction psychiatry at Mass General Brigham. He completed his master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of Toronto.
Areas of Research
Dr. Kleinman is a clinician-scientist focusing on personalizing treatments for patients experiencing opioid and other substance use disorders and evaluating ways of improving substance use disorder systems of care.
