Areas of Research
Dr. Quinlan-Davidson’s work focuses on improving community-based health services and outcomes for youth both nationally and internationally. She investigates the social and individual factors that shape youth outcomes. Using innovative community-based mixed methods approaches and implementation science frameworks, she seeks to understand what youth need, how services can improve, and how systems can respond more effectively. A central part of Dr. Quinlan-Davidson’s work is strengthening the delivery of integrated youth services (IYS) and community-based mental health care within a learning health system. Across all of her research, Dr. Quinlan-Davidson prioritizes meaningful youth engagement to ensure that services reflect the priorities and lived experiences of youth, particularly those who experience violence, discrimination, and limited access to care.
