We are conducting a research study to evaluate an investigational drug for people with major depressive disorder (MDD). The standard or usual treatment for MDD is antidepressant therapy. However, many people do not experience sufficient improvement with antidepressants. The purpose of this study is to find out the potential benefits and safety of a new investigational agent.
We are looking for participants who are:
- Aged 18 to 65 years (inclusive)
- Currently experiencing depression
- Have used an antidepressant medication but had not seen adequate improvement in depression symptoms
This study requires a total commitment of about 19 weeks and includes 10 to 14 clinic visits.
We are located at 100 Stokes Street, M6J 1H4, Toronto, Ontario.
The visits for the study will take between 1.5 hours to 3 hours depending on study procedures to be done.
Participants will also be assigned an approved antidepressant medication to take daily.
Participants will receive compensation for their time.
