CAMH’s Community Advisory Committee for Research (CACR) is a venue for discussion and consultation among CAMH research and community members.
The Community Advisory Committee for Research aims to inform community members about the role and activities in CAMH research and foster collaboration. Another aim is to gain advice and support in improving the translation of research into the community.
CACR membership reflects diverse research interests within CAMH and the community that may include patients and family members who have received services, as well as representatives of relevant community agencies, educational institutions, government agencies, industry partners and research-related organizations.
Meetings are held three to four times a year.
