womenmind Postdoctoral Research Award ($65,000/year)
womenmind provides support for up to four postdoctoral researchers annually, pursuing research to better understand, prevent and treat mental illnesses, with a focus on women’s mental health. Postdoctoral researchers can be external to CAMH as long as they are supervised by a CAMH appointed Scientist.

womenmind Seed Funding Grant ($200,000/2 years)
womenmind hosts an annual Seed Funding Competition to provide support for CAMH appointed Scientists during the critical period between when research is initiated and when sustained funding is received. The Seed Funding Competition will facilitate innovative research opportunities with projects focused on advancing, understanding and addressing mental health and addiction/substance-use challenges experienced by girls and women.

womenmind Leadership Fund (Up to $10,000/course)
The womenmind Leadership Fund provides support for women researchers who are either 1. emerging leaders who do not currently hold leadership roles but are interested in leadership development; or, 2. experienced leaders who are interested in honing or advancing their leadership skills. The fund aims to attract women from a diverse range of backgrounds and identities, strengthening our goal of diversity and gender parity in leadership roles. This award is for CAMH scientists who identify as women.

womenmind Mentorship Program
In 2021, CAMH Research launched the womenmind Mentorship Program, a new, innovative program for CAMH-appointed early-, mid- and senior-career women scientists. This is a 12-month mentorship program available to appointed researchers who identify as women. Interested in joining the 2025 cohort?
