Letecia Rose is an equity advocate passionate about creating inclusive and accessible spaces. Working in the area of social justice for the past 15 years, Letecia has trained thousands of young people, educators, and stakeholders in hands-on diversity programs across Ontario and has created spaces for individuals to have courageous conversations about issues of discrimination and inequity.
Letecia is a recognized city-builder and has received the United Way Innovation and Creativity award, a Vital People award from Toronto Community Foundation, the Inclusion Innovation Award from the NBA and is a WXN Women’s Executive Leadership Top 100 Leader for 2020 and a recipient of the Mercedes Benz Emerging Leader Award.
Within the community, Letecia sits on the Boards of the Civic Action Leadership Foundation and RISE Edutainment and is the 2020/2021 Co-Chair of the City of Toronto’s Reaction Task Force and the Co-Chair of the Emerging Leaders Network, a community of 2500 rising leaders across the GTA working to connect, develop and activate civic engagement and community response.
Currently, Letecia is the Founder and Principal Equity Consultant for Skill Market, and the Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Canadian Tire. In both roles, she works to build equitable and inclusive workspaces where people can show up as their best selves.
