Neelu Toor is the Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel at Manga Hotel Group, a leading Canadian hospitality investment, development, and management company. As a seasoned legal and strategic executive, Neelu is responsible for formulating and executing strategic initiatives across various business verticals. In her role, she oversees a diverse portfolio comprising real estate investments, property management, hospitality operations, and construction and development.
Most recently, Neelu was a Partner at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP having started her career in law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in London, UK. Her primary focus included private cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, and she handled a broad range of international and domestic corporate matters with an emphasis on Canadian investment and acquisition transactions.
She is part of the American Bar Association Women in Business and Law Group. Neelu is also a member of the Royal Ontario Museum's Young Patrons Circle, the South Asian Bar Association, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
Neelu obtained her law degree with honours from the University of Oxford. She also holds an MA from Stanford University and a BA (magna cum laude) from Cornell University.
