Changing the statistics around gender-based violence

gender-based violence continues to be a global epidemic. At least one in three women and girls experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. In Canada, 67 per cent of people reportedly know at least one woman who had experienced physical or sexual abuse. Every act of gender-based violence is one too many.
