Are you or do you know a post-secondary student in Toronto with an interest in improving access to health and well-being services for youth? Upcoming Thought Spot workshops need volunteers.
Thought Spot values: community, positivity, knowledgeThought Spot is a crowd-sourced, interactive map and app of local health and wellness services developed for students, by students. With funding help from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)’s eHealth Innovations Partnership Program, the CAMH Education Thought Spot team is preparing to improve this resource. The team is looking for student volunteers to help guide these improvements through a series of workshops.
Our team, under the direction of Principal Investigator David Wiljer, and led by research co-ordinator Alexxa Abi-Jaoude, research analyst Elisa Hollenberg, and our three summer practicum students (Mandee Kaur, Nicole van Heerwaarden, and Chelsea Stunden), will use the student feedback from the workshops to inform the rebuild and optimization of Thought Spot, so that it better serves youth seeking health and wellness services in the GTA.
Follow along behind the scenes here on the CAMH Education Blog as we feature posts by key players over the course of the workshops.
