This unique art installation consists of two custom fabricated wood public seating/bench elements in CAMH’s Crisis and Critical Care Building lobby, utilizing lumber that has been milled from two reclaimed silver maple trees formerly on the CAMH property within the construction site which were removed prior to the start of construction in 2017. The resulting art-furniture retains the physical memory of the Queen Street site as a statement about CAMH and Mental Health in our society.
