The redevelopment project is part of CAMH’s master vision to consolidate services at its Queen Street campus and create a space that is integrated with the community. The goal is to establish a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where patients can recover with dignity, while also changing social attitudes toward mental illness.
All construction work part of our 1D redevelopment takes place within City of Toronto construction bylaws, which allow for construction activities to occur Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
For the foreseeable future, construction activities will occur on Saturdays. All work will continue to occur within City bylaws. We will inform the community if there are any further changes to our work schedule.
