TORONTO, April 7, 2017 - Do you know a Difference Maker? In this historic year for our country, help nominate and celebrate Canadians who are changing the course of mental health. Nominations are now open!
CAMH Difference Makers – 150 Leading Canadians for Mental Health, is a national initiative to nominate and celebrate Canadians making an impact through research, philanthropy, advocacy, social change, or inspiration.
With the support of National Co-Chairs Sandi and Jim Treliving, and the engagement of a National Committee made up of mental health supporters and experts from across Canada, CAMH is inviting Canadians to join us in nominating and celebrating the significant progress being made in Canada to improve diagnosis and treatment, and to break down the stigma around mental illness and addiction.
Nominate a person with lived experience, caregiver or family member, health professional, researcher, teacher, advocate, philanthropist . . . or nominate a Canadian defying categorization who is making a difference in small or big ways-- in local, national, or international circles-- and in public or private lives.
