Evidence Brief: Mortality following non-fatal opioid overdose
From Public Health Ontario
- A review of the published literature on the prevalence of later mortality after a non-fatal overdose. This evidence brief provides info on the incidence/risk factors for opioid-related and all-cause mortality at any time point following a non-fatal opioid overdose. Also identifies the need for intervention in settings that have contact with people who experience non-fatal overdose.
