It’s official! We’ve launched the Psychiatry in Primary Care toolkit in conjunction with Portico Network!
Psychiatry in Primary Care (2011) was published by experts across Canada and within CAMH. Psychiatry and Primary Care has been updated for modern use with an app for the iPad and in-depth resources exclusively on the Portico Network that can be accessed any time from within the app.
Designed for health care practitioners, the app provides assessment and interventions to support Canadians with mental health and addiction issues. The app includes features to run sessions with assessments, screening tools and interview guides with clients, or search more in-depth information on Portico before seeing a patient. No patient information is ever saved by the app.
Once you’ve completed assessments on the app, you can look into treatment options on Portico Network to further discuss with clients and families.
This is the first release of the app and online version but keep an eye out for more updates in the near future.
The app is available in the iOS/Apple app store and the online version of Psychiatry in Primary Care is free to use.
