CAMH is committed to keeping our communities, neighbours and staff informed about the progress of the Queen Street Redevelopment Project. This month, we are launching the first edition of a new monthly construction update. These updates will provide an overview of scheduled work for the upcoming month, as well as interesting facts and important reminders.
This month, we are very excited to start work on the above ground structure (referred to as above grade work) of both the McCain Complex Care and Recovery Building (located between Lower Ossington and Workman Way) and the Crisis and Critical Care Building (located between White Squirrel Way and Gordon Bell Road). This above ground work is expected to continue until November 2018.
Some excavation work and drilling related to installing watertight retaining structures called caissons will continue at both sites this month as well.
