The Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention is one of the world’s leading centres in brain stimulation treatment, research and training.

Our studies extend across a wide range of brain-related illnesses. The Temerty Centre is at the forefront of clinical trials using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for depression in patients across the lifespan who do not respond to other forms of treatment.

In addition, the Temerty Centre is also one of the few centres in the world conducting ground-breaking clinical trials using magnetic seizure therapy (MST) in severe psychiatric disorders. The Temerty Centre also aims to discover biological markers of treatment response.
