Psychology Division

Psychology at CAMH is an integral part of CAMH’s role as a global leader in mental illness and addiction research.

Psychology research offers breadth and depth to address the complex challenges associated with these conditions. With their intensive research training and close collaboration across research teams, psychologists’ expertise ranges from complex statistics and epidemiological methods, through to intervention development and clinical trials, to in-depth mixed-method explorations of topics such as social marginality. We apply innovative knowledge exchange and engagement approaches with policy makers and knowledge users, from the local to international level.

Another vital role of the psychology division is to develop the next generation of scientists. We intensively engage with trainees, including research volunteers, through to undergraduate and postdoctoral levels.
